I qualified as a RGN in 1991 completing 2 years in Respiratory medicine before starting my career as a community nurse in 1993. I completed the Community Nursing degree to become a Community Matron in Portsmouth City where I worked for 13 years. I joined Lake road Practice in 2015 and am now the Diabetes lead and use my community nursing experience to the benefit of the practice and our housebound patients.In my free time I enjoy walking with my husband and our springer spaniels and in the summer watching cricket.

I qualified as a Nurse in 2001 and worked in Oxford as a Trauma Nurse. Myself and my family moved down to the coast in 2012 and following maternity leave I joined the Lake Road Practice. I am married with two sons. We all enjoy trips in our campervan and when I get time, my hobby is photography.

I joined the Practice in 2007 having qualified as a Registered General Nurse in Epsom in 1987. Before joining the Practice, I worked in local hospital for 16 years on the surgical wards, including vascular, breast care and latterly on the surgical assessment. I have a special interest in Asthma and respiratory disease and I am the wound / leg ulcer assessment lead for the Practice.

I joined the Practice in 1984 having qualified as a Nurse in 1973. My previous experience was as a community nurse and ward sister. I am the Practice lead for Immunisations and Travel vaccinations as well as the Infection control link nurse.

Fran Metson

I joined the Practice in 2020 having trained as a Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps General Nurse in 2014. Before joining the Practice, I worked in hospitals in Birmingham and Portsmouth. I have a keen interest in Respiratory Conditions. In my spare time I try and do as much sea swimming as I can.

I joined the Practice in 2018 where I work part time as a Healthcare assistant. Back in 2015 I qualified in health and social care with an NVQ level two and three. In my spare time I love making memories with my husband and two young children.
